When you are in power and you start arguing black is white you are in trouble.
Fraser did it, as did Hawke. Keating did it a lot and now Morrison is doing it.
It is impossible to argue the vaccination program is going well. It is slow, very slow and now we find out the vast majority of workers in aged care homes haven't got it despite being promised they would.
Each time you say black is white the punters will hate it. On such an important issue doing this is dynamite.
