The 2nd Test

 Interesting.

England has until now batted with disciplined aggression. In this test it turned into recklessness and it cost them the test. Bazball has alo meant taking 20 wickets and both in this test and the last England's bowling has looked less than wicket taking. robinson bowling bouncers at 80 mph or less was embarrassing to our batting.

Why is Anderson bowling inswingers instead of outswingers. Surely the best strategy bowling to two lefthanders is Anderson bowling inswingers and Broad outswingers. The batsmen would have to concentrate a lot more for a start.

The umpires were less than impressive. Better ones would have asked Cummins whether he wanted to withdraw the appeal on Bairstow which left a bad taste in the mouth.

Australia winning the test without a spinner was impressive however Cummins looked all at sea when the pressure was on.

Stokes's innings was fantastic. He actually put England into a position of winning the test until he got out.

The 3rd test starts thursday. Australia will have to pick another spinner who will struggle.  There wil be no other changes.

I expect England to drop Anderson and Robinson who isl uccky to get past 80 mph. I expect Wood and ali to take their places. this boost both the bowling and batting.

Can I ask the umpires to take action when repeated short pitched balls are bowled to tail enders please.
