Of course a convicted felon would see no problem in accepting a plane for a US president. Anyone else would. It clearly looks like a bribe BUT he cannot even accept it as a gift unless congress agrees.
People with memories would remember Obama had to get congress agreement merely to accept the money from the nobel prize he was ludicrously awarded.
The aeroplane present is stupidity on wings for all sorts of reasons. It would take a lot of money for the plane to be suitable re security. That is just for starters.
