The A-League final

Of course I am biased but the FFA could not have asked for a better prelude to the A-league final.
The two semi-finals were simply outstanding. The Newcastle Jets are the fairy-tale story for this season.
Last years woodenspooners are in the final and could/should the final. Moreover they play an exciting brand of football which any fan would love to watch.

Of course THAT goal via a scorpion kick will be the goal of the year world wide and gained the A-League world wide publicity. Of course luck played a role in it it does in any goal via a scorpion kick buy it was wonderful theatre.

Melbourne Victory finally beating Sydney FC  was the story of the other semi-final. ( The other one was the poor crowd. (Why was the Sports stadium not full?? The team has an outstanding season AND were favourites AND played a great brad of football.)

The final will be played in Newcastle who only have a stadium that fits around 30,000. People have to understand this is the tradition in football. The final is played in the home of the highest placed team UNLESS the stadium is too small as the Central coast Mariners have)

Even though the mighty Wanderers are not in the final this is a mouthwatering final to contemplate and I will be supporting the Jets!
