Is not selling goods for 'Australia day' woke?

Both Woolworths and aldi have announced they will no longer be selling goods for 'Australia day'.

Peter Dutton criticised this decision by saying it was a 'woke' decision. Was it?

Woke is ill defined.  It appears to mean anything the person thinks  does.Ron De Santis in the USA is agin it but cannot tell us what it is.

However both woolworths and aldi have made a commercial decision. Both have said sales have declined over tome. It is important to note both com-anies rely on high turnover to make margin as profit margins in most liones are very thin. Both companies make decisions to not have various products because of this very reason as any person who uses a supermarket know.

A very ironic  point top make here is 'Australia day' does NOT occur when Australia became a nation january 1 but on January 26 when NSW became a colony.

Thus Peter Dutton wants companies to sell goods to lose money to celebrate a day that has no foundation!

Is that woke?
