On Friday night I saw Lincoln with my wife.
It is an outstanding movie. Excellent acting ( James spader had a ball), marvellous script and john Williams was sensational in his music. Who was the trumpet player? He was unbelievable, his lilting tunes lifted the movie even higher if that were possible.
Highly recommended.
Funny thing is the amendment was never a big issue in any book I read on the man.
I too loved the movie...the acting was superb, and James Spader definitely was having a blast performing W. N. Bilbo!
ReplyDeleteThe trumpet player was excellent. I don't know who he was, but he played for the Chicago Symphony.
I actually met a female who thought it slow and boring!!
ReplyDeleteHey Homer, if you recommendation of Castle is anything to go by, I think I'll Skip Lincoln.
