US Politics
wow after the Republican convention most thought the Republicans were a shooin perhaps getting all three 'chambers'. Biden dropping out has dramatically changed everything. Harris still has the wind behind her sails.so much has changed.
Trump looks very old and acts it as well. I still do not understand how an obese man can make insults about another man about his weight and obese people in the crowd applaud
NT election
I remember in the old days Keen Parish who lives in the Territory would invariably get the election wrong while those of us who don't would get it right. A landslide was always on. The ALP went through leaders, they looked hapless and finally they were being hit on the right and left.
Russia/Ukraine
Ukraine has brilliantly invaded part of russia and thus far russia has yet to respond. Part of the reason surely must be Ukraine saying to Western nations they should be able to target places much further into Russia. Would russia send missiles to Ukraine power stations if Ukraine blew theirs up?
Middle East
Israel continues to blow up buildings by alleging Hamas terrorists were in it. They have even alleged there were command centres in them. Aas thus far no evidence as it is rubble and innocent people are killed. And Israel wonders why they are losing support in the world.
My son
He refereed the north West Premier league reserve grade final on saturday and did a fantastic job. I gave up an umpires' conference to watch and glad I did. It is my last season umpiring anyway.
