Over the last month or so I have been flummoxed by some people's understanding of words.
Don Lemon whom CNN discarded said Nikki Haley was past her prime ( in terms of beauty). This was said to be misogynist. Huh. How is saying she is past her prime any evidence he is showing let us say dislike towards her?
In Rugby League a South Sydney player who is aboriginal was called a black dog.This was called bad racist language. RACIST? No question of calling a person a dog is quite bad and should never be allowed but he wasn't called a dog because he was black otherwise the adjective is meaningless.
Terms like misogyny , racism or homophobia are used far too often when they should not.
