Two elections

 There were elections in Turkey and Thailand on the weekend.

Turkey

Given inflation is over 40%, the economy is a mess and the earthquake last year was mishandled badly one can only speculate how Erdogan got only slightly more votes than any other candidate. It reminds me of Zimbabwe somewhat. has he made islam the equivalent of tribal loyalties? We await the run-off and see if there is to be a change of leadership. Perhaps Musk stop his censorship which Erdogan wanted !

Thailand

Yet again the military have been shown up as having little popular support. Never mind Thailand will have a government  for a period until the military has another coup! The only surprise was the party that got the most votes and they want people to be able to criticise the monarchy!
