Rex airlines is in the headlines for the wrong reasons.
Read the link and it will tell of the problems the company faces. Board troubles and a hubristic thought that they could take major city routes seem to be easily overcome. concentrating on regional routes and gives them a reasonable but not great profit.
The Government should only get involved IF it is temporary and the airline is a going concern. I do not support the usual National party socialistic practice of privatising the profits and socialising the losses.
The government should not get involved if the airline can only exist on government largesse!
As it is it is my guess Rex's demise is greatly exaggerated.
