On monday night I watched a Haunting in Venice with my oldest son after missing it at the cinema.
It is the best of Branagh's Hercule Poirot films for a number of reasons. He has nailed Poirot. The choosing of people for the main roles was outstanding. Tina Fey and Michelle Yeoh ( whom I got to know from Star Trek Discovery where she was terrific ) are standouts.
The film is not too long and never boring. It is on disney so if you can afford it watch it.
Roslyn Carter died recently. She really did start the role of the first lady doing good works. Although she gave her husband plenty of political advice as she would often say he did not always take it! She was not overtly political possibly because she did not posses the intellect of a Hilary Clinton possibly because she di not think the first lady should be political. either way I doubt if we shall see the like of her again.
