We have seen in the UK the Murdoch press break the law simply to write stories.
Right now we in the USA Fox news giving us proof that they simply broadcast lies knowing they are lies.
Do both these things mean Murdoch should not be allow to have anything to do with the media ( and for us in Australia does anyone not believe similar things are not happening here.
For those who would not allow murdoch anywhere the media then we are getting into if not russian territory then certainly hungarian / singaporean territory although our justice system is certainly independent than those countries. This is the problem. The slippery slope. It is not far to go from floridian big government to hungary to russia.
Let us not forget it was good journalism that caused the evils of Murdochism to be shone in sunlight in the UK and now it is a law suit in the USA doing the same.
Yes some idiots will still believes the lies that spew out of Fox but their hypocrisy is public now.
So no I do not believe Murdoch should tarred and feathered from the media industry.
